What happens when no one wants to distribute but people want to see it?

Maybe someone will invent an international alternative to Netflix?

Whatever happens I do hope they sort it, though, because I'd really like to see it.

Somebody should create "Controversy Court" or something, some streaming service specifically for edgy persons. Greenlight a new Kevin Spacey series, establish a contract with Woody Allen, and fire up all the latest comedy specials from Louis C.K.

Yeah, or I was thinking they could just specialize in Eurasian programs. Watching Borgen recently proved to me that there's a lot of good stuff out there that a lot of people never hear about, or not for a long time.

Pray for the complete and total destruction of the #MeToo bowel movement. There IS a market for Woody's films in the States and a sizable number of people who don't believe the insane Mia Farrow's vindictive lies from almost 30 years ago.

i still think that they gonna release it on dvd in europe
update it's alredy been digitally released in russia, but only with a russian dubbing

I will always love Woody, and I have wanted to see this for 2 years.
Thankfully it is now streaming on Amazon Prime.
I liked it, but it was a bit weak.
I loved Wally Shawn since Dinner With Andre, but he was a little weak for this character.
I read Woody's book, and it is funny that he was offered Wally's part in DWA.

So it finally came out on DVD and I saw it, and liked it. Vintage Woody stuff.

The relationship between the narrator and the doctor and how it develops was a little too predictable, especially if you've seen all the other Allen movies, but the fact that there isn't a Hollywood ending is good.

The philosophizing was the best part.

This movie should come with a list of other films it references so that you can go see those first and have them fresh in mind when you see this one. Recreating those scenes was a really nice idea.
