i started watching it

I found it went downhill after the 3rd episode.

How so?

I just finished it and thought, while it wasn't the greatest show ever, it was still a decent watch. Opinions seem to vary wildly on this show, maybe because of the expectations we all put on it?

I was really enjoying all the episodes since the start, and felt the pacing was good until the last 2-3 episodes. They just felt off for some reason.

My SO felt bored until after the first 2 episodes, then it picked up.

You thought it was good and then was worse after the 3rd.

I feel like it's a good one off series. I did hear some talk that they plan was for a true detective style show, which could have been interesting if they placed it at different points in history but also could get very repetitive very fast. I thought the story was entertaining and it definitely gave a creepy vibe.
