I knew a bit about the story. Just a little. So there I was half way through this documentary and I had learned almost nothing new. Eventually I did learn some things but the film is loaded with wheel-spinning interviews and repetitive scenes. There are a few interesting ideas floated in mild, quasi defense of Holmes and very intriguing points made by a "behavioral economist" but in the end I felt under-educated about it all and wanted to read or watch something with the full data. 2 hours and I felt that way. I hear there is a 30 minute film on youtube that gives more info than this.

My wife thinks her voice is fake. That she is trying to sound more respectable via a deeper tone. I don't know but it is weird.

I liked the film more than you did, but there was something weird about that "behavioral economist" (whatever that may be, and despite the interesting points that he made). I didn't notice until after his 3rd scene or so that he has one side of his face clean shaven, and the other side with a beard! Haven't seen that since Kramer got bopped on the head.

It is because his face has scar tissue. You could see that his mouth was slightly askew as well. Probably fire or chemical burn accident. They kept that side of his face somewhat shrouded in shadow. I thought he looked good, considering.

Agreed. This is great to watch if you find closeups of Ms Holme's pleasing. It felt like everything that was said here could have been said in about ten minutes.

Exactly! The focus seemed more on the director than the topic.
