Rightwing Star Wars “fans” are not true fans

As expected, the fake rightwing “fans” of Star Wars are complaining about a black woman villain. And that is what they focus on.

Understand this. Star Wars has always been a progressive franchise. It’s about a group of rebels fighting a fascist Empire. Even the casting of Leia and, later, of Lando, was about progressive inclusion. There is nothing wrong with casting a POC and woman as Reva. So far, this character is doing her job well.

This franchise is not for rightwingers and their usual bigotry.

So, the rightwing “fans” should just leave this board. You are not true fans and you don’t belong here.

You have to learn to just ignore those asswipes (or call them out). Thats the internet , or at least this part of it.

The real kicker is when the villain is white , they start with all this bullshit :
"They cast white person as the evil one ! woke! woke! They hate white people"

Ummmm what is political about Star Wars? And from what I understand with the character of Reva most people seem to think she wasn’t very well written and aren’t attacking her because of her race. I’m sure there are a few extreme examples of people doing that but most of the criticisms seem to be against how the character is written not her skin color. Also if what you’re saying is true why was Lando considered to be one of the best Star Wars characters ever? Why didn’t anyone have a problem with Carl Weathers in the Mandalorian?

Frankly I guess you don't consder me a real fan since I only like the OT and was never wanting an episode 7, 8, and 9. I watched 7 and 8 but refused to watch part 9 when I learned it stupidly ressurrected the Emperor who should have died at the end of Return of the Jedi. I didn't care for 7 or 8 that much and frankly think the series ending at Return of the Jedi is how it should have stayed. Actually I have watched about the first 5 episodes of the one with Baby Yoda that I can't remember the name of. And Imdb doesn't seem to list it when I searched Star Wars.
