No one smart falls in cults

Like that moron that said he was told Keith was the highest iq on record and he said "i'm listening" as if somehow he has an insight, what a fucking imbecile. They are all revealed to be morons, the victims, not the cult leaders.

reply

Many are born into it and do not have outside interference. Many can't see it.

reply

yes,m those are special cases.

reply

I agree. Very sad! You did by any chance catch the one about the Moors did you? I am trying to determine which episode it was. I have a friend in Danger!

reply

which one was that? I only watch for the Nxium.

reply

Oh, you have to go on demand and watch the series. There are a bunch! Let me know if you happen to run across it please.

reply

Which show is the "Moors" you're talking about? Do you mean the one about Mormonism? That's the only one I haven't seen because it's not offered in my On Demand selection of shows. Not that it's a conspiracy or anything--On Demand often omits one or two shows from an entire season of TV series...very frustrating and annoying when they do this.

reply

I believe it was this one
Cults and Extreme Belief: U.N.O.I.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8458000/

I watched it a long time ago.

reply

the only difference between religion and.cult is the amount of followerd

reply

No, there are a lot of differences, not just one and "only" one. One of the biggest happens to be that a religion allows you to walk away from their group and teachings, whereas a cult punishes you and often times takes action to prevent you from leaving.

reply

Are you watching what is going on with Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6244192/ ?

reply

Yeah I've been hopping around on that show with On Demand viewings...it's both fascinating and repulsive to see the scumbaggery perpetuated by Scientology. I hope they do a show devoted to Tom Cruise and other celebrity enablers at some point.

reply

Unless Tom renounces Scientology it will never happen. I hope they do uncover the whole thing. Darkness can never smother out light. What they do in the dark will be seen one day.

reply

I just caught an episode last night that dealt with celebrity $cientologists. It was primarily about Paul Haggis and his break since he was interviewed, although it did make a point of at least showing clips of most of the well-known members including Cruise.

reply

Just the tip of the iceberg huh?

reply

yes there are several/subtle differences, but in general, religion is still a form of a cult or at least a variation of a cult, or you could also think of it in reverse, eg. cults are a form of religion. The differences are mainly in how they practice it, at the end of the day, they can both be dangerous, destructive, and misleading.
