Sadly its seems to be going down in believability.

I can ignore the character's history in comic... but why in the world is the show taking such a comic book turn in terms of some of the violence. The disfigured Lord Harewood is laughable, but now they have the entire top of a guys head vaporized when he is shot from a sawed off shotgun... Sorry but while the shotgun would have easily killed him it would not have simply erased 2/3's of his head like that it would have just a mangled mess but not removed everything as if someone used a sword. If the comic book violence continues it is going to make the show a joke. It was goofy enough when they were splitting open the people at the hanging and having guts spewing out but I had hoped it would stop trying to be a comic book.

I'm glad to be seeing posts about the content and quality of show. When they started showing ads for Pennyworth, I was skeptical because I remembered how Gotham started out so good and then went waaay south in season 3. From they trailers of Pennyworth, this looks more like Gotham's third season than the brilliance of it's first two seasons. Why they have to make these shows so "over the top" now is beyond me. Not everything has to be GOT. I'll likely NOT be watching Pennyworth.

I watched it through to the end, unfortunately it just got worse as the season progressed and the ending was pretty much pointless as it just leave things pretty much hanging until the next season. Frankly I can't even remember what happened now because it was so memorable - not. By not watching you aren't depriving yourself of anything great by any stretch of the imagination.
