It kind of feels like it.
The creators lofty vision of it lasting six plus years does not inspire confidence.
I'm still watching, but were just getting more and more mystery with no answers so far.
That's what I'm worried about, too. The ratings (while good, comparatively) have steadily gone down all season. It started at 10.4 million viewers and the most recent episode got 5.54 million.

It's on NBC. They have a habit of hanging on to shows. Hell, they're still keeping The Good Place around.
Problem with a show like this is if doesn't the full vision, you get some rushed wrapup that can be just as unsatisfying as a cancellation.
