Feminazism and Woke/SJW pressure thing.
Hollywood, or anything else in society in the US, UK or elsewhere, has been moving PC along without the current crybaby tone for radically changing everything because it isn't subject to tokenism and mega-diversity.
In many TV shows, there's already formulaic casting - each room contains 1 of him, 1 of her, 2 of them, etc etc.
In a rational world, it would be impossible to believe that anyone with a functioning brain would watch something like this, let alone create it. The idea would be met with well-deserved derisive laughter. But we live in a world of irrational, sick wokeness that will probably make this crap successful.
