This isn't a Chucky show. It's a teen drama with boring characters that has occasional scenes of Chucky thrown into it. If it wasn't for all the swearing this shit would be on the CW. It's funny how Dan Mancini trashed the remake from 2019 when that was miles ahead of whatever the fuck this is.

shareAgreed. Especially with all these exaggerated stereotypes. Yes, high school kids are idiots and jerks, but these kids are straight up sadist. When you force the audience to root FOR Chucky, there is a problem with the writing.
shareMaybe I am alone in this but, I love this show. I love how the writer is including the back story as to how Chucky became a doll from a little boy. The show is keeping my interest.
shareSo you know better than the person who has been writing Chucky since he first appeared what the character is all about? I am fully expecting Chucky to succeed in turning Jake over to the dark side and Jake will be the person who kills Lexy. Lexy's little sister getting Chucky obsessed can be pretty interesting too, real life killing can be fun :D
