The floorplan

One of my hobbies is figuring out the floor plans of television buildings.

Television set designers do not seem to care very much if their sets would fit together well to make a well planned building.

I have wondered whether the "den" where the kids hand out could be in the basement, but it has a door leading out to a yard that should be on the same level as the outside on three sides of the house. I wondered if the "den" set could be a room facing in the opposite direction to the living room and kitchen set, which would make doors to the exterior on all four sides of the house.

And today 11-10-19, I was watching "Would you Wrather have a Frozen Phone" and "Would you Wrather Get High Honors" and I had another idea.

The living room set has a door at the corner between the front (?) wall and the side (?) wall. An interior space can be seen through the door, including a staircase. This is presumably in the side wing that sticks out in the side yard.

Since the "den" set has a staircase, I guessed that possibly the "den" could be in that side wing by the side yard.

So if that is the intention of the set designers that would answer the question of where the "den" is supposed to fit into the house in relation to the other sets.

Of course the whole side wing of the Wrather house seems to contradict the clips of the house exterior that show a real house, one that seems like a simple rectangle with no side wings.
