It´s a harsh yet concrete point of view of daily routine...

i have read multiple opinions about this movie and sadly for me most of them only take on the Sci-Fi tag as a explainatory reason as to inmediatly blame the events towards the concept of aliens...
I don´t feel it that way, i think it´s more a harsh satire sort of speak as to daily human rutine and how the bads and wrongs of itself leads to a loop of misery, exahustivity and feel in a figured way being in "hell" this last being only undertood for every sinple mind apart since we´re individual being despite our natural urge for comfort on being in a pack.
This being said multiple times i felt identified with much of the portrayed in this film, and truly i believe that if tought in this manner many of you will too, not only that but share your perspective on this psicho-social film.

That’s perfect. That’s what I thought roughly. It’s some sort of darkly satirical comment on the nature of modern suburban life.

I think it gets to be a parable like that in the middle, but closes as sci-fi.

I'm sure that is what they were going for. It was quite one-sided on purpose then, as there are many benefits to a life of daily routine while certainly not as rigid as depicted in the film. But it would not have been interesting to watch then.
