Wonderful tribute

I watched this the other night and really enjoyed it. John McCain is a brave man and I'm happy I got to learn more about him and his military service. I only know him as the senator from Arizona. He was a great hero in the war and he has a lot of courage today to speak so openly about his battle with glioblastoma.

reply

Though he has confessed to sending American men & women to their doom over those WMD's.

reply

Agreed, but didn't many people believe the intelligence reports that Colin Powell presented to the UN? McCain was always a war hawk and presented with bad information, he made a bad decision. I'm not excusing his vote. He served our country more honorably than most, wouldn't you say?

reply

I can't be impartial here, GF. I detest the man fervently for turning on Trump like he has and for many other reasons.

reply

Did you watch the documentary?

reply

No. I wouldn't waste my time.

reply

McCain is frequently the one who presents the bad information. For example he is the one who presented the Trump dossier. I don't think these are accidents or mistakes.

America deliberately left POWs behind in the Vietnam war. McCain was allowed to come back. Vietnam liked McCain and even wanted him to become president. He spent the war doing propaganda reports for them some which have only recently been discovered. He was responsible for the McCain Commission which covered up these events. His father was responsible for the USS Liberty Attack which I think many people don't know about but it was a false flag attempt to have Israel kill all the American on a ship and blame Egypt to get America into a war. I think McCain's injuries were probably from crashing his airplane and not from being tortured. He is a traitor.

What is courageous about speaking about a disease? Is this a troll post?

reply

GD rights.

reply

Did you get all the BS from Alex Jones???

reply

I don't want to get all sappy about John McCain, because he is a Republican and has gone along with a lot of the terrible projects and legislation Republicans and their supporters have brought to us, including tax cuts when we are in the red.

But, McCain is an honorable man, a funny man, a serious man. When I heard his gracious concession speech to Obama in 2008, and saw his having to tell the crowd to calm down and stop the insults .... that is something very few, if any, Republicans would do.

I am sorry to see him sickened and weak when the Republicans need someone to stand up against Trump. I don't think McCain was a great hero, but he went through life changing horrors and came out the other side and that has got to add something to your view of life that all Republicans seem to be missing.

reply

I agree.
