Very emotional but a bit rushed at the end (spoiler)

I found this movie very emotional and the child actors were all great and belevable.
The scenes with Zain and the little Yonas were heartwarming. But I must admit that the ending felt a bit rushed. Yonas was found somewhere with some refugeees. The Mother of Yonas got her baby back. And finally Zain got a passport.

May be it is because of the massive amount of material the director had that the ending is such a rush...

One thing I did not understand: Zain is got paid 500 dollars for Yonas but why? At the end Yonas is found with some poor refugees in a container. I cant imagine that these refugees had paid 500 Dollars or more to have one more baby on board....

I think Yonas planned on selling the baby but hadn't yet had a chance to when he got busted. That was the only part of the movie that didn't ring true for me. I think IRL that baby would've been flipped immediately to its new owners. I don't know the intricacies of how human trafficking works, but I'd assume people like Yonas don't buy (or steal) a baby until they know they've got a ready & waiting buyer for it. Otherwise yea--it's just one more mouth to feed.

*SPOILERS*

Yonas was the baby's name, I think you mean Aspro. But I agree with OP, felt like it was a phenomenal movie but at the end it felt a bit rushed - Zain's mothers monologue didn't have that big of an impact on me and transition from Rahil in jail to her getting back Yonas felt a little unsatisfying.

Still an incredible movie. I got emotional when Zain was struggling to hard to take care of Yonas but then in the end despair set in and he just had to give up.

Powerful stuff. Def recommend!
