Sometimes fun, sometimes stupid, sometimes offensive

Mostly just average.

reply

I'm surprised it was even average the whole notion that a bunch of rich liberal elites could hunt down and kill a deplorable that wasn't hog tied and staked to the ground is laughable. Most rich liberal elites couldn't shoot the broad side of a barn while most deplorables in the fly over countries were shooting before they could drive. I'm sure it might be a fantasy for the liberal loons to go hunting deplorables, but the reality is the average deplorable would wipe the floor with any liberal loon.

I don't know why you think a bunch of random people in flyover states would automatically be a bunch of Rambo's in this situation. There is a world of difference between occasionally shooting at the range or hunting deer vs waking up in an unknown situation where you are surrounded by landmines, punji sticks, C4 rigged booby traps, and a bunch of people with superior firepower shooting at you in an open field. Most people trained or not would probably die under these conditions.

reply

You are assuming the average liberal elite could even load a gun let alone shoot it. I'm assuming most of them would blow themselves to hell when trying to create a C4 rigged booby trap. My only problem with the movie is that it is another feminist fantasy where of the dozen people being hunted the one that turns into rambo is the 125 pound girl.

reply

Well the 125 pound girl was a Marine and Iraq war veteran. Not a stretch to assume that person would be the ass kicker amongst a bunch of rich clowns and right wing chickenhawks.

As far as the rich peoples skills, had you seen the movie, you would know that they apparently had trained for the better part of a year for this little hunt. Not saying that amount of time could turn them into seal team six level warriors, but it would certainly make you competent enough to hunt down the idiot goons shown in this movie.

reply

Haven't seen it nor intend to. As I stated the premise was laughable. You've provide answers to how they tried to make it more plausible but they don't seem plausible nor does Gilpin look like a former marine... I have seen female marines and they all had a look about them that was much tougher than what you get with Gilpin. In that respect it may simply be a case of bad casting.

reply

Have you ever seen Deliverance? The deplorables are the evil dumb hicks, in case you didn't catch that. You actually WANT them to win? How many rich liberals have you made to squeal like a pig? I'll bet that's your ultimate goal in life, to prove that dumb ass hicks are better than educated people. Why the hell do people even go to college when we should be rutting in the dirt like real people.

reply

You do realize that unless you live in California or New York then you are considered a deplorable ya fucking moron. The term deplorables wasn't just to cover the back wood folks it was used to describe everyone in a fly over state that wasn't willing to accept Hillary.

reply

Not true. She was referring to some of the awful people(of which there are many) who support Trump. The jackasses who promote homophobia and xenophobia or push conspiracy theories are prime examples. And you can definitely live in California and still be a deplorable. The state has millions of right wing voters. They just happen to be vastly outnumbered by moderates and liberals.
