I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I got some Evil Dead 2 vibes from it and I thought it was overall fun (aside from the middle act which drags). If you're in the right mood I'd say go for it. 7/10 for me.

This just had so many absurd moments that it took me out and I just kept asking myself, wait , What?
I'm not going to defend the movie. It's honestly pretty crap. But it's the right kind of crap if you are in the right mood. I just wanted to watch Nic Cage kick the shit out of puppets and spaz out and this movie delivered for me.

I regret renting it for 20 bucks and wouldn’t watch it again. I think making Cage being silent was a bad choice. Over the top, hammy, bad acting Nic could have really shined the right dialogue.
Yeah, I'd say you'll know if you want to watch it if you read the premise. If you laugh, you'll enjoy the movie, if you cock an eyebrow, probably skip it.
