The scarlacc pit

When The Marshall mentioned that the dragon ate the scarlacc.

Was this the same pit that Jedi took place at? (ie Bobagate)

reply

No, that pit is closer to Mos Eisly.

reply

Thanks. I thought not.

reply

It was also out in the middle of the desert, not in a cave.

My dad and brother and I were watching the episode, and we all got confused because the entrance is sideways, whereas the only Sarlaac pit I've ever seen was flat on the ground. Based on the fact that the krayt dragon can dig through solid rock, we figured out that the sarlaac must have had its maw at the top of the mountain, and the krayt dragon dug its way into the side and probably attack the sarlaac in its side, rather than fighting it from above.

Just goes to show how terrifying this thing is if it can not only destroy a sarlaac and steal its home, but eat it for breakfast as well.
