How did Mando's crew know?

How did his fellow Mandalorians know what he was up to and know he was in trouble? Apparently they not only knew but knew early enough to get to him just in time.

Did I miss something? They seemed like this deus ex machina that just came out of nowhere.

This is my chief complaint about E3. That and the fly-by salute.

Yeah I was thinking it was a bit of a plot hole for his Mandalorian allies coming out nowhere at the last minute but it's a commonly used trope in action adventure film & television

One assumes they have eyes and ears around town and know at least the broad strokes of what's going on. The last thing you want in an underground lair is to be taken by surprise. I'd have a grid of sensors set up all around the vicinity so we could observe from below - to see if anyone was gathering to attack us, for example, and which of our secret exits don't appear to have been discovered.

That's a reasonable conclusion but it would be nice if the show actually presented some evidence for this instead of leaving the viewer to assume.

Perhaps it will be dealt with in ep 4 but I doubt it.

reply

No, they probably won't address it specifically but however they did it, it's reasonable to assume they wouldn't be operating blind and always kept an eye on events topside. As for their arrival just in the nick of time ... well that's the movies for you!
