The Mandalorian is overrated

Don't get me wrong. I like the series. It's a decent one. It's probably the best thing we have seen in SW Disney, better than Force Awakens, since this one was just a copy-paste from the OT, while The Mandalorian is an original story.

It has great visuals. The story is dull and lacks compelling characters, but it makes sense and it's well paced. It has not woke stuff for now (knock on wood).

It doesn't make anything great, but it doesn't make mistakes neither.

What I don't get is the overpraise. It bears comparison with the old Clone Wars series, not so much with Firefly, sadly. This is not near the OT, it's no masterpiece or cult classic. It's a decent scifi series, which is no small thing, but that's it.
