E3: too simplistic.

Steals baby Yoda back and flees. Rest of the mandos help him but their behaviour is suddenly forgotten in the repercussions. Besides, what bs is a bounty hunter society? Execs' high from John Wick money?

reply

I don't think the Mandalorians are all bounty hunters. They're a warrior society of some kind, which used to be a lot more numerous until the Empire conducted a purge. I'm guessing they refused to submit to Imperial rule way back at the beginning when the Emperor took over and kept resisting.

I thought it was interesting that they lived in those underground warrens and only one of them was allowed out at a time - so no one in the city had any idea there were more around. They did say they were going to have to relocate because of this. But that, apparently, is The Way. They never abandon their own in a fight. So the show's main character is on his own for the foreseeable future, unless they've got a communications network already in place to guide their strays back home.

That sounds like an excellent analysis.

Why are you revealing spoilers in your title? Not cool.

reply

Who would visit a forum about a show before they saw it if they wouldn't want to be spoiled?

reply

If you assumed that people had already watched the episode, then your entire post is completely unnecessary since it's detailing the episode which they would already know. Your true intention appears to be to ruin the show for other people. Not cool.

On the outside chance that you're only naive, just place the spoilers in the comment section and keep the title vague with a spoiler warning. Example:

E3 Recap (spoilers)

steals baby Yoda back and flees ...

reply

Most people! That's why we have rules about spoilers.

reply

just like the bounty hunters have a code, internet discussion forums of TV shows and movies have a code. Rule No. 1 is NO SPOILERS IN THREAD TITLES.

reply

Amen! This is the way!

Apologize, edit the original post to eliminate the spoiler, and move on. Problem solved.

Yes you can, "genius".

I came to explain to Maul that one can indeed edit both title and post, and see he's deleted his response. What a typically cowardly act from a bully-- chime in with an unprovoked insult while saying something incorrect, but in a cocky, self-assured way, then delete the remark after realizing he's wrong.

I suppose we now know that Lampedusean and maul are likely the same person, so there's that.

reply

No, he's someone else. I am aware of the editability of both title and post.
The reason of the spoiler is to get more readers and replies. And it works.

reply

Possibly, but I will heretofore be convinced forever that you're the same guy. :)

reply

p.s. edit the title. Why spoil the show for someone? We're a small, friendly community here. Let's be kind to one another.

Tune in Friday for more predictions.

reply

Yeah, I'm glad I actually saw the show first!

I am too. That is NOT the way!

Agreed! That is NOT the way!

You put a spoiler in your title? Seriously??? That is NOT the way!

The episode left more questions than answers I’m afraid.
