What a unrealistic premise

Is having a fake baby to get over the death of one you lose a thing? If so, I've never heard of it. Just how detached can you be to all of a sudden go from a rag doll to a live baby, and not have any idea you just did. Not sure if someone that disconnected from reality would be able to function as normally as she did.

--Why did the basement floor start to crack while Leanne was down there.
--Who replaced her Tomato Soup with dog food, and why.
--What was the deal with the crickets.
--Why did the alarm not work for Sean, but Dorothy input the same code and it worked for her.
--What the hell is up with the splinters
--Dorothy and Sean sure live nicely when you consider their jobs. Is it dad's money?

I'm gonna assume there's a supernatural element to this show that hasn't totally come to the surface yet. Hell, I'm not even sure. At one point, I couldn't help but wonder if Uncle George wasn't the dog that got into the house.

Season 2 starts this week, and I hope this stuff gets resolved.

I'll try to answer as best as I can:

--Why did the basement floor start to crack while Leanne was down there.
She fat!

--Who replaced her Tomato Soup with dog food, and why.
The Dog Food Fairy because he's a tricky one.

--What was the deal with the crickets.
5 crickets for 1 grasshopper

--Why did the alarm not work for Sean, but Dorothy input the same code and it worked for her.
It's woke. Doesn't like men.

--What the hell is up with the splinters
Stop having sex with trees if they bother you that much

--Dorothy and Sean sure live nicely when you consider their jobs. Is it dad's money?
No

Hope that helps...….I'm just kidding, I've never even heard of this.

All good questions, I’m glad I’m not the only one in the dark. About the house, I thought someone asked Dorothy‘s brother if he was going to consider selling the house and he said the market wasn’t right for it right now. So I thought maybe he and Dorothy own it together? Maybe they inherited it?

I wasn’t sure what was going on with the can of tomato soup, I assumed that it was a can that had rotted.

... and suspicions of a supernatural element began.

I haven't seen this, though I did take a peek at the trailer.
When there are so many questions after season 1, that smells like LOST - a series with more new questions in each season and no answers to any of them even after the series ends - lol
Don't waste your time.
