Just watched the first two episodes of this, and I'm addicted ! Very funny with great acting from Ben Platt, Jessica Lange, and the rest of the cast.
I've been waiting for this series since it was first announced last year (and there were rumors that Streisand was going to star - I believe in Jesscia Lange's role). Streisand never signed on, but the stellar cast added up quickly.
Anyone else tuning in?
Finally the second season is here, this show’s first season was so brilliant that I’m watching it again before going on to season two. I hope that they maintain the amazing quality and clever writing they started out with. The cinematography is nearly better than the acting.
It’s shot incredibly well and creatively, it’s so rare to find a show that hits on every level and actually makes you feel so conflicted. You follow down the rabbit hole almost like Breaking Bad but with the veneer of squeaky clean politics. This is the kind of dirty that rich, educated people are involved in.
Absolutely. It is witty and sweet and endearing and super entertaining. They made full use of the talented cast and characters were not overshadowed by the casting. Its excellent writing.
I'm surprised there aren't more people raving about it on here!
I hope there's another season but it seems like they were done.
