Plot holes | Can somebody please explain ...

1) So, at one point the baddies knew that the police was looking for a black pick-up as they could see all these black pick-ups getting pulled over. So why would they let him go on and drive around with one? Just change the freaking car.
2) When they know about the hotel he is staying, why for the love of god do the agents spy on and check out literally every individual checked into this hotel? Why not look for the one guy with, again, the stupid black pick-up? Just go up to the reception and ask who the black pick-up belongs to.
3) Baddies desperately trying to find Eastwood when he goes AWOL. Like a week or so goes by. Isn't the first place to start looking for him his home turf and family? No, they would rather roam all the highways between Texas and Illinois with I don't know how many cars. Wow.

1) I was wondering the same thing about point number 1. Why didn't they just change the color of the pickup with a new paint job or just get a new vehicle for him to drive every time he took a shipment?

2) Same thing, why not just locate every black pickup in the parking lot and run the plates on it and stake out until Clint went to the truck in the morning?

3) They didn't have his full name or any other information about him, they just knew he was running drugs for them.

3) he first became a Mule because a man at his granddaughters house turned him on to it... They knew who he was and how to get ahold of his family.

Ah you're right totally forgot about that part of the movie.
