Is this story padded out some? Seven episodes? Is it worth watching?
Because I'm towards the end of the second episode and I'll be danged, we just went home with the detective in Colorado, to apparently dive into her personal life (her kid, relationship with her husband), etc. We're all in the kitchen, talking, talking...
I like this show so far, but this kind of thing is starting to seem common with these mini-series...introducing elements to the story that don't seem to have much to do with the actual story.
The story here is about a girl who's found to be telling the truth in a rape case that nobody believed in initially. Do we really have to delve into one of the detective's personal lives in order to tell it?
Maybe its impatience...and having already wondered how they managed to stretch this story into seven episodes, but is this worth sitting through? Both this relationship stuff and the series, I guess?
