A weak beginning (Spoiler Alert!)

I never saw "Ghost Whisperer". However this show has elements from "Ghost" and "NCIS".
The premier episode was slow and weak, and the acting was mediocre. I know now why it has
a mediocre 6.9 rating on IMDb. I would give it a 6.0.

One of the main characters is black, and another is gay. So we can immediately check off two diversity boxes. (Sigh) The other two characters are a psychic (intuit?) and a ghost. So there is only a tenuous connection to reality. BTW, the ghost is a child, and she's a brat.

And the gay character is English, so that makes him difficult to understand at times. Thank goodness for the DVR so I can back up, and decipher what he just mumbled.

I will give this show some more rope, but I am not optimistic. I may have to cut it loose eventually.

SJW Whisperer

It is NBC, it's come to be expected almost all their new shows will be written by twenty something SJW feminists with an agenda.

Yeah, pretty bad. I tried giving the next episode a chance, but so boring and the main idea has been done so many times. Sadly, it has nothing to keep me around, or interested.

I see it being cancelled

I saw the first episode and some of the second so far, and it did initially catch my interest/seem good somewhat.

I kind of went off-track on episode two, but willing to keep watching. It doesn't seem that incredible to me overall, but it does have appeal from the get go that I found somewhat interesting at least.

I agree with the accent though -- sometimes you have to listen loudly or you miss some lines/words.

I could see this show going for at least a few seasons possibly and keeping it "fresh" for a while.
