Season 2 more explicit/"vulgar" than season 1?

I'm watching season 2 and find myself frequently cringing a bit. Don't remember this for season 1. Was season 1 equally explicit? I don't remember...

I think season 2 was tamer. Season 1 had nudity.

Agreed. Season 2 was slightly tamer than the first.

Less vulgar. Much more story and character driven.

That’s not what makes me cringe. I hate the bullying scenes.
