Pure trash or just slightly shitty?

I think you should watch it and decide by yourself. I watched it and I wouldn't say it was shit. It was better than many movies that they are showing regularly in the cinema. It's not a masterpiece, but it is watchable :)

It is actually pretty good.

Slightly bad. Had its moments, but wasn’t executed as well as it could have been. Too many dim witted characters, for instance. And the movie was marketed as this sort of unique take on the superhero genre, but this theme wasn’t explored or fleshed out. It was really a standard slasher, with Brandon equal to Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers.
