Woman rate it 0.9 higher than men. Only group below 6.8 is men over 30, especially the bitter old men who probably didn't even watch it!

Older males use to score movies lower than young viewers. They've seem far more movies and they're less impressed. This is Avengers Endgame, for example

Even in Joker, a movie that mainstream media portrayed as a movie for "old bitter white males"... young viewers scored it higher than old ones. And what's more... females scored 'Joker' higher than males!!

I find most of the time my rating is within 1 point of IMDbs, which come to think of it makes me either boringly average or a moderately good judge.
One thing that is all but confirmed now is that IMDb has a strong conservative, middle aged american male dominance of it's demographic.
Back when they showcased the demographics of voters it was 80% male and about 50-60% american.
Any movie that is 'woke' has to get it's score protected by the site due to bitter conservative american men hating on anything that doesn't cater to them. It makes the site largely useless when evaluating certain movies.
