Whoa! Only a 75 million budget!

DC Films has become smart, smart, smart. This has the potential to be VERY profitable.

DC is at the center of the current zeitgeist and this upcoming slate...lol...wow. At the same time they've reigned in budgets.

It looks like Warner Bros. has a Golden Goose in DC Films that's going to own the next decade without the need for any of them to have 200+ million production budgets.

Deluded, absolutely deluded, No chance as long as Disney keep releasing movies , perhaps you should wait till bop is released before shooting from the hip, oh dear , I sense more disappointment coming queens way .

The biggest CBM by far next year will be Wonder Woman 1984. NOT a Marvel movie.

Looks like I'm going to have to copy and timestamp this one for posterity.

Are you making a prediction here or just capturing the "Chatter", QFU?

For the record: I don't care if WW84 is or isn't the highest grossing CBM in 2020. That's the little Troll game you like to play against Marvel and Disney for your personal attention and your own self-aggrandizement. 😎

It's a prediction...mark it down. It doesn't take a genius to see how 2020 is going to go down.

reply

You wish , let the shilling begin , its sad to see

reply

Might as well book mark and time stamp this one also.

You've got "Zeitgeist" and "LoL" in the same sentence. I just don't see the humor? 🤔

Here are some Synonyms for 'Zeitgeist' in case you are interested:
climate
outlook spirit trend ambience atmosphere
disposition feeling flavor inclination
leaning milieu movement tendency tenor tone
You're always free to LOL those in combination.

Heh, were you aware that LOL has synonyms? Laugh Out Loud:
Lots Of Love
laugh like a crazy man
lulz
burst out laughing

hilarious
died laughing
hen house
bray
Laughing Out Loud
cracking up

So what is the break even point for BOP?

reply

You're instigating aren't you?

reply

Id say 300 million to break even , oh and queen fan predicted wrongly again , funny

reply

@furiousstyles

Congrats on getting it right about mediocre box office. Now...if the same thing happens to WW84 like you predicted you will look like a genius!

reply

118 million world wide, i am a genius

reply

It depends on how much they spent on marketing, tbh. Usually big blockbusters get about 100 million or more to market worldwide. I've seen some people say online that it could be as low as 50 million but no one really knows. So...if the marketing budget is the usual 100 million we're looking at a breakeven point of around 350 million.
