Isn't the little girl dying of cancer proof he's not The Messiah? could he be the Antichrist?

If he was The Messiah and had healing powers he would have healed the little girl who had cancer, instead she dies at the end. So i don't see how theres any question if he was real or not, why would he not heal the little girl?

And i heard people talking about rumors of him actually being the Antichrist, well if he's not a con artist and is infact some kind of mystical being it would be the Antichrist then. He lead all those people in the desert to die it seems like, he killed the injured dog, and he didn't heal the little girl of her cancer.

Cause you mean to tell me at the end he saved the lives of men that had him captured and was gonna imprison him but he wouldn't save the life of a sweet little girl with cancer?

the writers had no idea where they were going with this series.

reply

It's a pretty well thought out series and they knew exactly how the story will go on. Unfortunately the majority of the viewers thought the same as you, so the show got cancelled.

reply

"the writers had no idea where they were going with this series."

This was telegraphed in the first episode.

Actually, if God exists and Payam Golshiri is Jesus second coming, the death of the little girl is not important. Only the lives of people that can help his messenger do his work are important. Everyone else is expendable, since they are going to Heaven anyway.

Why would you put a spoiler in the title of your post?!

reply

Why would you come to a message board where people are discussing topics about it if you haven't seen it is the better question. I never go onto a message board of a show or a movie i haven't seen before cause i know people are gonna be posting spoilers.

Show was cancelled anyways, don't waste your time with it, its setting up a story thats never gonna get finished.

reply

Yeah but you're not giving people that chance... What about people seeing this on the 'latest post' board? ....which is probably most users on this site.

reply

Even better question: If you are worried about getting spoilers why visit a forum where the subject is being discussed?

reply

That doesn't necessarily apply to the 'latest post' board... unless you've seen every movie and tv show ever made.

reply

That was your decision. Stay away from movie forums is your best bet.

I can go to message boards when people observe the unspoken rule of putting the word SPOILER in the title, so that I can choose to click on it or not. Most people do it, but there are people like you who just ruin it for everybody else.
And I'll decide for myself if I find a show worth watching or not.

The show ends on a cliffhanger giving you NO answers, the show is cancelled, therefore you will never get answers, watching it is a gigantic waste of time. So its not really one of those situations where you can decide if you like it or not, do you like getting no answers and having an ending where you find out nothing and know you will never find out due to it being cancelled?

And its your won fault, do some put spoilers warnings? yeah but there is always a chance someone doesn't, which is why i don't go to message boards of something until i've watched it, causes i've got sense. Besides i could care less about spoiling this show, its incomplete, its like a book where someone tore out the final pages and everything you've read has been a waste of time. Wish someone spoiled it for me, you're lucky trust me.

You are 100% correct

Isn't the little girl dying of cancer proof he's not The Messiah?

NO.

If that was the case then all of the children who have died from cancer or in some other cruel way is proof there is no God.

Yeah, it is.

It is because he claimed he will heal her. It is because he claimed to be Messiah.

The show is very smart in giving info in a way that you keep wondering if he is the Messiah or not.

Like in the last episode. He only "saves" the people without wounds. Did he save them or he was just there when they happened to wake up?

It's a VERY smart show and it "proves" that people will ALWAYS see what they want to see. The religious will see the Messiah, the non-religious will see a fake Messiah. Plus how easy people will change even their deepest believes ...
