Because it falls apart if you think about it too closely.
WHY would she use an ex-con she had a connection with?
Who was running the Livestream of the memorial service?
WHY would they use a picture of the same model as the other streaming video/chat site?
How do they figure the kid would escape prosecution To The Fullest, even though the Mom tried to take responsibility? (He wouldn't)
How on earth would a team of investigators miss a car following hers onto the highway? (They woudn't)
Etc, etc. . .
This was almost SUCH a great movie. . .
I hope so. It deserves serious Oscar consideration.
