Ridiculous twist (spoilers)

For a film which takes itself seriously enough to show how a father would hack into his daughter's various social media accounts, the Hollywood-style twist of the cop being the villain felt tonally out of place.

I didn’t find it compellin at all and mostly bec da production value is so bad. How much they spent on dis film like $100?

reply

I didn't feel that way at all. Why are the complaints on here so ridiculous?

reply

It's the internet.

How did it feel "tonally" out of place?

reply

It worked for me. It was surprising but still made sense when you look back on it. It didn't feel out of place for me at all.

I saw it, yesterday, and thought that the whole mvoie was pretty good..could have used a better ending..perhaps.

reply

It was just a shitty, ineffective twist that I didn't care about. Was hoping for something darker and more fucked up.

reply

Same here. I mean, the dirty cop screwing up the investigation at every step was implausible, but was done in a believable manner, but then she offs an addict after getting him to bogus-confess. That was just like "Nope, that's just ridiculous".

All of that stated, I found it to be an entertaining movie.
