Why was the Social Worker so weird?

LOL I guess she does this all day long, and is desensitized already..She was soooo strange

Also, what were her findings? We didn't see how it went with her at the mother's house. It seemed like she visited the dad then the next day they were ready to settle the case. Did the social worker's visit have any impact on anything, other than to make the dad's life more stressful than it already was?

That the system is broken and makes the situation worse than it was.

She's supposed to be a fly on the wall and not take part in anything, just observe.
