What do you think about the show's portrayal of the orcs?

I like that it shows off just how cruel and evil they really are. This was present in the previous movies as well of course but in that one they were mostly just seen in war and battle settings, while here we see them in their living spaces and that is very interesting.

I'm enjoying it - the orcs seem like more of a threat here.

I find it unnecessary.
This is not World of Warcraft.
Tolkien's Orcs are fallen, unredeemable creatures of pure instinct and violence.

I like the makeup and mannerisms. I don't like how they're all wearing rags and scraps- orcs are capable of smithing and crafting, they aren't mindless beasts.
