By the numbers, but...

...still a winner. Whether it’s a romantic Christmas movie from Netflix, Hallmark, or a major Hollywood studio, there are certain things these kinds of movies must have to be successful. A good script is always first, and Christmas Inheritance, while not breaking any new ground, does have heart. Second, the leads must have chemistry. Third, there has to be some good Christmas music (to go with the regular score). And finally, the movie has to evoke Christmas feelings. Christmas Inheritance has all these bases covered. You won’t find any real surprises, but it is sweet and the leads win you over.
