Firearms handling

I've noticed things that bothers me a lot.
First of the limp-wristing of handguns, in real life they would suffer malfunctions.
Second, in many shots you see that they have their firearms unsecured, meaning they don't engage the locking system of the holster.

Is it so hard to remember to lock it every time you holster you firearm?
