They really dropped the ball not releasing this digitally

They should have gone the digital route with this. Lots of people wanting to see it but it is not playing where they are at no doubt due to the pandemic and also because of the limited release.

reply

Still no digital release...sigh.

I agree. The budget for this movie was cheap and it was critcially acclaimed. On top of that, a lot of people aren't going to theaters right now and looking for new movies to watch at home. Charge $20 on demand for it and A24 would easily make a profit back.

reply

Found it online. Probably watching it tonight.

reply

Pirated?

reply

😉

reply

It just came out in the UK on Blu-Ray this week. It will also be released on EPIX in the US on the 12th.

reply

Just pirate it. I pirated it.

reply

pirating is wrong

reply

Not really, if they don't make it accessible, what are we suppose to do in lockdown at home? Might as well pirate it.

reply

It is available on https://www.epixnow.com just have to get a trial subscription.

reply

Nah, no thank you, better to pirate it.

reply

pirating is wrong, they have made the movie accesible, your initial excuse is bunk

reply

Yes, sorry. Okay, it's not about accessibility - it's about convenience. Okay, they offer a trial subscription, but they are still getting something from you. THey are getting your personal data, and then you have to go to the bother of cancelling, whereas, with pirating, it's no strings attached free. So it's a no brainer.

reply

it is stealing

reply

Not really. I made a replica of it, so the right holders still have their film. I viewed/consumed it for personal use, not profiting from it, so it's okay.

reply

It is stealing you deprived the owner of a sale while you still watch the movie

reply

1 download doesn't equal 1 sale.

reply

Voltaire would disagree with you.
