I thought he would be a 'bigger' character when he was introduced, like some sort of angel/gatekeeper or whatever.

Yup i liked him throughout then in the final episode i thought he was a dick.

Yeah, I thought he might be the nexus of it all, but the dude served absolutely no purpose in the show. Plus, it seemed so unrealistic that the 2 main characters would be so attracted to his dirty ass.

Maybe it was a personal thing for the women writers of the show.

There's something unsettling about him in the final episode. He's a mystery. They might go deeper into his arc in season two.

The most interesting thing about him, I think, is that Nadia already says, "Hey, don't I know you!?" in the first loop...so...that's an odd pre-echo...
