Richard Madden is Scottish. He was born in Elderslie, home of William Wallace. That is how he really speaks.

Honestly I assumed he was randomly putting on a Scottish accent myself. I've only seen him in Game of Thrones and assumed that was his regular accent.

In everything I’ve seen him so far (GOT, Ibiza and Bodyguard) he had the same accent. So it must be his natural accent.
