If Morrison always intended to kill Elena, why did he bother keeping her alive for so long? I felt the the romance fling that they had was forced and didn't really make sense. Neither seemed to like each other, and she even seemed to despise him. Was there some past history there between the two?

Anyway, I was just wondering what Morrison's purpose was for keeping her alive for so long after he caught her when he wanted her dead anyway. Did he just want to have a fling to get close to her to shoot her from long distance lol???

This is one of the main questions I have about the film. Didn't Hathaway's character hate Affleck's character and essentially everything he stood for? I cannot see how she would ever get romantically involved with him. Also did he just want to bang her and that is why he kept her alive for as long as he did? Strange.
