Not bad

I wasn't sure what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Got my heart rate up a little bit. Hadn't done any research on this movie before watching it, so it really just seemed like a regular aging film-school guy making a genuine film while I was watching it. Not sure why such a low rating. Just don't read about it before you watch it.

I get it, I appreciate what was being done in the film and there were some good elements. But if a film feels like it's starting to drag and you keep checking to see how long is left - and this film is only an hour long - then there has to be a problem somewhere.

**SPOILER!!!**It was so-so...I thought it seemed contrived. The scene that most convinced me of that was right at the end when he came up from the basement into the kitchen. As he pans the camera around to his left, he gasps as if surprised, presumably due to all of the kitchen cabinets being open, when they had been previously closed, but his gasp comes at least 1 second prior to this reveal, and it was pitch dark, he wouldn’t have been able to see them standing open without the aid of the night vision camera he was using. Sort of spooky, but that was a huge eff-up on his part that if he hadn’t done it, would have made this a really scary doc.
