Great movie

I thought it was sad to find no board for this film. It's one where I've also read the book, and the movie is MUCH better than the book ... you don't get to say that too often. Even though the author went on to write bestsellers in other genres, and some made into major theatrical releases, I find this adaptation of his work the most enjoyable and one we rewatch every couple of years during the Christmas season ... though this is really "The Winter Train". Christmas is hardly mentioned in either the book OR the film and plays no role in the events.

Good movie with an interesting twist.

I wouldn't say great. It's very much what it appears, a gentle Hallmark Christmas romance movie featuring two likeable actors. And that's okay, it's good for what it is.

Three pretty major stars. It's unusual. Plus, they manage to carry the antithetical romance almost to the end. Most Hallmark antithetical romances drop the trope far too early

I agree it was a good move and I enjoyed it, but I still wouldn't call it a great movie. Also don't know that I would say there are 3 major stars in it.

It is one of the better Hallmark Christmas movies - I have it on DVD!

I thought it was pleasant and had a good cast. I liked the film and would rate it a 7/10.
