These are just snippets, but it gives a clear impression of how the movie will be received by critics, but it's how audiences will receive it that will make sure it has legs or not.

I'm a bit disappointed by the fact that some of them don't consider it as good as the original, but then the original was a special event and was always going to be hard to follow.

Compared to what? The miniseries. Face it, the miniseries is shit. The melodrama, the awful music, the dated feel, and the inaccurate adaptation.

It was terrible. John-Boy is not only a poor actor, he needs to cut off the distraction/mole. Judge Harry Stone is also a lame-o. And don't get me started on Venus Flytrap. Frank N. Furter is great, as usual. But he can't be in *every* scene!

The original miniseries suuuuuucks.

I did rewatch the second half of the miniseries (since the first half is redundant because of IT 2017) and it was just BAAAAD and BOOORING. It should be roundly silenced by the time IT Chapter 2 comes out.
