I mean i like the adult part of the book and mini-series better than the kid one in the 2017 adaptation, mini-series and book.

Because you are saying something contradictory: the adults in the book are OK, if I remember, but everyone hated the second adult half of the IT miniseries. Just what do you have against children?

I think the kid one is fine but i've seen monsters vs kids done better in Monster Squad, The Gate and some others.

I just feel the adults going on an adventure feels more refreshing.

Hope they change the ending. The ending in the book sucks, IMO.
