Umm..finish the job?!? SPOILERS

When she was on the precipice of escaping a second time, and she bashed him in the head and just looked down at him passed out, I was screaming "Finish the JOB!" because you knew right then and there, like in many other movies and series, that the 'heroine' will inevitably die (or go through another 20 minute round of hell before finally escaping) because they didn't kill the villain. Other than that, I surprisingly enjoyed it, and am looking forward to season two.

I really liked the show and Beck until the end. Sadly that part about her not finishing the job is costing
[spoiler]
her being in a second season :( it really disappointed me a lot that he killed her, I don't like Candace, I'm not interested in a second season without Beck :(

Okay, I'm making this prediction now because I don't think he killed Beck. Remember, he said he never kills anyone he loves. I'm betting he's keeping her captive somewhere (not the book room), and we will see her again in season 2.

Watch the last episode again. Who do you think is the wrapped burrito in Joe's car trunk? and the forensic people in white uncovering it in the hole that Joe previously digged and buried in the therapist's house front yard? There is no missing nobody. They found her right away. That's how they got Nicky and Beck's manuscrit fits the story of him being obsessed with her and her imminent murder. No mystery here, the friends being interviewed and all, her book turning a best seller because of it.

I think you missed big part of the ending. Everything indicates story will continue with Cadence.

reply

I thought the same exact thing. AT the very least, drag him by his feet into the "cage" and lock him there.

It was also ridiculous that the guy who Candace cheated with continued to casually sit on the ledge of a building when confronted by a stranger that's accusing him of sleeping with his girlfriend.

reply

Right?? I could see it somehow slipping his mind if it was a brief encounter. He'd look back later and think, "holy crap, dude could have pushed me off in that moment!" But no, they were talking there for a couple minutes...nobody could be that dang oblivious.

reply

when she ran to the door, she could at least have taken the hammer with her...

This silly show is full of stupid moments/things like that but damn it's entertaining. I was hooked from the first episode and I'll tune in for a second season.

Yep and to add onto it , The Becks has no curtains at her place . I know she’s strapped for cash but even she woulda had curtains haha.
