This apocalypse doesn't seem as plausible as A Quiet Places

I mean that movie had huge, lightning fast, indestructible space beast that could rip through a tank. I could see those things collapsing society.

But these things, while many, almost couldn't even penetrate a minivan and they were easily killable. Which means they really ain't getting into a military grade humvee. Which means that a bunch of these with modified gunner spots and a dub step CD to attract them could wipe hundreds of thousands in an afternoon.

Doesn't seem like the world would end. Millions would die sure, but this seems highly beatable.

Why bother with a humvee, all you apparently needed to do was drive around pulling a wood chipper behind you and they would all kill themselves.

reply

yeah , and ditch the dubstep , thats make anyone run a mile

I tried to think of the most annoying music which would make these things bash their skulls into the side of a fully armored truck and kill themselves.

Yes, I was really hoping they would explore this strategy but all we've got were
bows
!

they did look pretty useless, I just can't see the US military having too much of a hard time making these things go extinct pretty quickly.
