Seeing that was weird for me because I just learned of Blow Out's existence--and watched it--only a few weeks ago.

It actually looked more like the 70s to me than most of the 80s so ‘81 definitely makes sense.

Yes... very funny.

Inexplicably, I saw that movie once almost 40 years ago and saw that poster and the stupid theme music for it got stuck in my head!

Why did my brain store such a memory????

They were doing a retcon like later comics do to explain why Batman was so campy in the 1960's TV series.

The movie felt like it was taking place in two timelines that were melded together the 1920's and the 70's it wasn't until I saw that was going to be the Zorro movie that I realized it took place in the early 80's
