Yeah, I can tell this isn't a comic book movie, just the writers telling a story about a depressed guy using the joker name. Maybe it will be a hit, maybe it won't.

They love giving Oscars to people who sit alone in rooms and act crazy. He'll get a nod for sure.

Could be like that movie that no one really watched but still won the Oscars. Moonlight or something (forgot the name) but it was after La La Land mistakenly won.

The only way this could be truly good is if it takes place in our world, The Joker is a comic book character, and this guy decides to become him. That would be similar to the Denver murderer.

If it's supposed to be the actual Joker and there's no DC universe, that is stupid to the point where I won't see it or will watch it for free.

I was talking to a guy from zeta reticuli and he says Joker will make $3 billion and win the Nobel Peach Prize.
