Does anybody else think sometimes of Robby as a girl?

What’s weird is that he started as this rude delinquent, wearing leather jackets and stealing stuff with his 2 friends. Then suddenly he becomes one of the good guys, just like that

They could be transgender like Elliot Page, but the opposite. Instead of taking estrogen to appear female, they could be taking testosterone to appear male. I know it sounds nuts, but before you dismiss it, check out some of the videos on youtube of "open transgenders" that are taking hormone replacement therapy for 6 months to a year. They are able to completely transform themselves, voice and all into the opposite sex. The estrogen makes your skin soft, and adds a layer of subcutaneous fat, and the T has more drastic effects, and can make a female appear male in just a matter of months.

I have never noticed this. I think Robby is a much more damaged character than Miguel. Johnny keeps choosing Miguel's needs over those of his own child. I don't see how that can end well for Robby and I think the subtext in the show all points to that. The way Robby's character is written emphasizes how exposed and vulnerable he feels.

In the first two seasons, with the long hair, he looked like a pretty girl. In the third season, after the haircut, he looks like a twelve-year-old boy.
