Eh, I think the story should come first. So I wouldn't want them to shoehorn something like that in a few seasons into the show just for the sake of it. That said, if anyone could make it work, it's the writers for Cobra Kai.

It definitely is done well on the Saved By The Bell revival. I honestly think both shows are examples of how to do revivals right.

If they went on and on about it I would have an issue with it but being transgender could certainly be seen as something a person could be bullied about so a throw away line about why they joined the dojo wouldn't be too out of place. If they made it a main story line it probably would be though.
