Season 1 i think they were both equal but I think yasmine over moon this season - maybe the innocent girl routine does it for me rather then the bitch from first season - but moon didn't really impress much with the little scenes she was given this time.

Tory, easily. Sam really looks unathletic and unfit. I realize some people like that but I don't think its the right body type for the female lead of a martial arts show. Like that's the best female Miyagi Dojo has to offer? I'm not feeling it.

I don't know what it is about her but its not her body which is more pear shaped for karate but she just doesn't seem like a lead actress, the other girls playing Yasmine or Moon would have been better as the Larusso daughter.

I think she is supposed to look like someone who would be Daniel Larusso's daughter: "Cute" but not "hot," confident but not bitchy, a bit of a square with a wholesome vibe. In this, they succeeded.

Actually agree her and Daniel have the bad karate fighting in common and both not hot looking, only average nerds at best.

Unathletic, yes. But unfit? No, I wouldn't really agree.

In an age when obesity is running rampant in developed nations, Sam looks fine and seems to be someone who takes care of herself.

I said the same thing on her message board, but here is what I don't understand: I imagine she has to undergo a lot of training for the show, right? So how is it even possible that she is still so round??

If you watch season 3 actually you see Mary Mouser does very little karate moves but just moves around alot, her punching or kicking is very soft just like Ralph Machhio did in the original trilogy- So maybe she is right choice for playing a Larusso girl, but Peyton's punching and kicking is much more tougher and realistic looking and looks like she has done some sort of physical training in real life as she has more of a gym girl body.

I think her "roundness" is a bit of an optical illusion, possibly created by the clothes she wears and her hips.

She has wide hips. This is just a bone structure thing.

Actually looking at her again i think i got it wrong she has wide shoulders and hips but she has alot of fat and the mumsy flowery clothes definitely don't suit her

Even the tight leggings which normally makes girls look toned doesn't suit her either.

I actually kind of like the wavy hair. And she looks quite thin in that last picture.

She may be carrying a bit more fat than you would expect from a serious karate fighter, but it's mostly concentrated in her hips and thighs. If you look at her from the waist up and just ignore that area she really doesn't look big at all.

I think she looks okay and she's not big enough to deserve to be called fat, but she does strike me as someone who needs to make a point to not put on weight as she ages, because she seems like the type where it could get out of control.

There's 2 different things with Sam,

There no way she looks karate fit but same could be said for Daniel, So that matches with her being his daughter - so that ain't an issue.

in terms of her looks:

I think the wavey hair makes her looks like the mumsy girl.

Its less of her body but her overall look - she just seems abit dull and lazy, not a hot and sporty type of person.

i don't thinks she's fat but has fat parts to her because of her body shape but if she became a gym person then she might even have bigger shoulder and legs, it just some girls weight goes straight to the hips and shoulders like her or others to there belly and boobs, or ass and legs, but you can't change body shape unless you make a choice to fatten it up or slim it down too much to try and hide it as much as you can.

Even her sexy picture would be considered just above average girl next door - most girls look like that on a normal night out but she has the full setup to make that happen.

Cute is one thing but sexy is totally different.

I think the mumsy look is intentional. She's supposed to look wholesome, as contrasted with Tory, the edgy bad girl.

I have to say, while I think that Tory is clearly the hotter one, that's not really the kind of girl you scope out for a long-term relationship. I like Sam's more pure, innocent nature, so personality-wise I think she has a strong advantage.

I agree Tory's not the girl you bring home too to meet your mom, but i have to say Moon seems more the long term girl from season 3 but Sam seems the girl you would most avoid or last pick.

I posted another reply to the OP before. I just finished watching the whole series and I still think Sam is prettier but Tory has the better body. Sam looks out of shape to me but a very pretty girl with lovely eyes.

I found Tory's face to be very unattractive. She reminds me of a bobblehead doll. I kept waiting for her head to wobble back and forth.

I still think Moon is the most beautiful girl on the show :)

I'm not sure I'd say that Sam looks "out of shape." I know what you're getting at but I think it's a kind of optical illusion created in part by her wide hips and the unflattering clothes she sometimes wears. But I will agree that she's not super-fit and doesn't look particularly athletic, like you might expect a serious karate girl to look. Basically, she looks like a regular person, an average girl who stays in OK shape.

I think Tory looks good all-around. Good body and good face.

As for Moon, she's a nice-looking girl, but there's something odd-looking about her face that is off-putting to me, as if somewhere in her genetic code she has a bit of gray alien.

Sam is extremely cute and has a prettier face. The girl who plays Tory has a great body and really makes the whole bad girl thing work, but I legit hate the character. There's nothing likeable about her and I like Sam as a person.

This show does not lack in the babe department at all.

I think Tory is the better looking girl all-around. Sam is okay, but not the kind of girl that I'd make a mental note of her attractiveness if I saw her on the street. Tory is very sexy, though.

However, Sam's personality makes her marriage material while Tory's basically disqualifies her on this front.

Sam 's face is way prettier imo. I'm not a huge fan of Peyton List's face. Sometimes I look at her and think, "Damn, she's hot", others I think, "Her face is a little...I dunno." She's certainly not ugly, but something about her face throws me off.
